I don't usually go to the Goggle search home page, so I miss out on the various tweaks to the logo that celebrate cultural events. Somehow I came across this, so I thought I'd share in case you search from your toolbar as well.

Google will count down the 7 days leading up to the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street with a new character each day. Appropriately they started with Big Bird. Who will be next? Click over to find out.
