Actually, I'd rather try that than have to ever taste boiled peanuts again. Easily the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten - it still makes my stomach turn to think about it, and it's been two years since I tried them.
Someone offered to buy me some boiled peanuts when I was in Florida and when I saw someone else getting them "dished" out, I said forget it.
That's just...disturbing.
The closest taste I could figure for boiled peanuts was bile, Adam. Not recommended by any means, and yet I know people who cannot live without them. Ugh.
